BLACKSBURG SENIOR AMONG GRANT FINALISTS

Heather Mullins, a Blacksburg High School senior, is one of 1,000 finalists in the Jostens Foundation Leader Scholarship Program.

Mullins is one of more than 38,000 students who applied for one of the $1,000 awards made annually to 300 students. Winners will be announced in April.

Selection is based on outstanding achievements in school and community activities, leadership experience and academic excellence.
