Mrs. Carmel Lee Persinger, age 74, of Rt. 4, Moneta, died Monday, February 11, 1991 in a Roanoke hospital. She was the widow of Benjamin F. Persinger. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Connie Persinger, Moneta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vivian and Frank Horton, Franklin County; Betty and Terry Oliver, Vinton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Charles Hoffler officiating. Interment will be in the Daleville Cemetery in Botetourt County. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
