SYRIA TO SELL JORDAN OIL

Syria has agreed to supply Jordan with almost one fourth of its daily oil needs, Jordanian officials reported Tuesday.

Oil and Energy Minister Thabet al-Taher said Syria would sell "fuel oil and gasoline in the initial stages at world market prices." He declined to reveal any figures. - Associated Press
