OBIT EDMONDSON, R.

Roberta M. Edmondson, age 82, of Camelot Hall Nursing Home, Salem died Tuesday. She was the widow of John R. Edmondson. She was a member of Melrose Baptist Church and also a member of Electa Chapter #33 O.E.S. She is survived by five sons and four daughters-in-law, Thomas E. and Virginia M. Edmondson, John M. and Doris S. Edmondson, all of Roanoke; Walter H. Edmondson, Juno, Fla.; Gary W. and Joan Edmondson, Elizabeth City, N.C.; Lt. Col. Richard L. and Carole G. Edmondson, Misawa, Japan; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15 with the Rev. Larry E. Sprouse and the Rev. Harold C. Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
