OBIT RYAN, E.

Edna Smith Ryan, age 94, died Tuesday in Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born December 9, 1896, the daughter of the late Ralph Gilbert Smith and Ella Morris Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Ransom Ryan; and one daughter, Madeline A. Ryan. She is survived by three sons, Clyde R. Ryan, Jr., Wytheville; Wilmer A. Ryan, Pulaski; Roger Ryan, Raleigh, N.C.; two brothers, Carl Smith, Audrey Smith, both of Pulaski; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Thorn Spring Cemetery, with the Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating. Arrangements by Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home.
