Oakey, Blacksburg; paternal grandparents, John and Eleanor O'Connor, Landrum, S.C.; uncle, David Oakey, Pempe, Ariz.; great-grandfather, Paul D. Oakey, Roanoke; also three great-aunts; one great-uncle and 13 cousins. Funeral services were held Monday, February 11, 1991 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
