OBIT LESTER, A.

Mrs. Amie T. Lester, of Roanoke County, died Wednesday, February 13, 1991 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Floyd County, Va., daughter of the late Pearl Shelburn Thompson and Rufus Wilburn Thompson. Mrs. Lester was a retired dental assistant and was a member of the Roanoke Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Houston H. Lester, Roanoke County; sister, Edna T. Graham; sister-in-law, Lala M. Thompson, both of Christiansburg; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Saturday with Minister Keith Wagner officiating, assisted by Minister Don Utley and Minister C.E. Mannon. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Oakey's South Chapel.
