ETC. DRYSDALE PLEADS NO CONTEST

Hall of Fame pitcher Don Drysdale pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor drunken driving charge and was fined $2,350, prosecutors said in Los Angeles.

Drysdale also was ordered to attend a 90-day alcohol education program and perform 200 hours of community service with the Youth Sports Program of the Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation.
