HENRY COUNTY MAN DIES IN ACCIDENT

Kenneth Ray McMillian of Bassett died Thursday at the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville-Henry County after his car crashed in Henry County.

The accident occurred at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday on Virginia 698 in the Blackberry community, about one mile east of Virginia 627.

The car in which he was riding swerved sideways while traveling at a high rate of speed on a hillcrest and slid into a truck.
