RALLY FOR TROOPS SET AT RADFORD AUDITORIUM

A "Support Our Troops" rally will be held in Radford on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Preston Hall Auditorium at Radford University.

Patriotic music, speeches and prayers are planned.

Radford Mayor Tom Starnes and the Rev. Bob Ferguson, who has three sons in Saudi Arabia, will speak. Also appearing will be Beth Chance, a Radford University student who has been corresponding with American troops, and John Buck, an American Legion member who has a son in the Mideast.

Professor Brack Smith will be master of ceremonies. The university and Radford High will provide the music. VFW Post 776, representing Radford and Montgomery County, will post the colors. Call Caryn Ergenbright for details at 731-6741.
