RALLY FOR TROOPS IN CHRISTIANSBURG

The Christiansburg-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is holding a "Support Our Troops" rally Sunday starting at 2 p.m.

The event will be held in downtown Christiansburg at the town memorial in front of the county courthouse on the corner of Franklin and Main streets.

At 2 p.m., the ringing of all the town's church bells will signify the start of the rally. There will be an opening prayer by the Rev. Rob Sowell.

The event will also include guest speakers and music. Bring your flags, posters and yellow ribbons to show your support.

The ribbons will be left on display until the troops come home.
