DANIEL'S NAME WRONGLY STRICKEN

IT MADE ME sick to my stomach when I learned about the canceling of the name of the Dan Daniel veterans home. As a veteran, I was pleased to learn of this much-needed facility being built here in our beautiful valley. I was especially pleased to know it was to be named after a great American, Dan Daniel.

So you can imagine my disgust to find our governor requested Sen. Fears to introduce a bill to change the name. If this is the New Mainstream, we're all going to be washed away in a river of vindictiveness. As a lifelong Democrat, I am truly sorry for my mistaken vote in the last gubernatorial election.
