SERVICE OF PRAYER SET FOR TROOPS SENT TO GULF

Slusser's Chapel Church of God, 1543 Mount Tabor Road, will conduct a prayer service Sunday at 10:45 a.m. for those from Virginia Tech and Montgomery County serving in the Persian Gulf.

Maj. Gen. Stanton R. Musser, commandant of Virginia Tech's Corps of Cadets, and the Naval ROTC Color Guard will participate. The Carillon will play.

The program will be videotaped to send to the troops.
