NEEDLECASE SHIPPING HEADBANDS TO SOLDIERS

The Needlecase, 129 N. Franklin St., is making plans to mail headbands to Operation Desert Storm troops. The headbands will help keep our soldiers warm on desert nights.

To knit headbands, use acrylic worsted-weight yarn in tan, gray, off-white or pale yellow. It takes approximately 60 yards to make one headband. If desired, attach a personal note.

The Needlecase has instructions on how to make the headbands. The first shipment will be made Thursday, Feb. 28. For more information, call 382-0034 or stop by the Needlecase.
