BUCHANAN - Mrs. Eva Elizabeth Layman Markham, age 88, died Friday, February 15, 1991. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Morris and Jeanne Markham, North Haledon, N.J.; one daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Glenna and John Berry, Sr., Buchanan; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 17, 3:00 p.m. at the Buchanan Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard L. Southern officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Rader Buchanan Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buchanan Rescue Squad or the Buchanan Baptist Church.
