CLARK, BOB J.

PULASKI - Bob Jay Clark, age 51, of 609 Cardinal Dr., Pulaski, died early Friday morning in the Pulaski Community Hospital, Pulaski. He was born December 24, 1939, in Pulaski County, Va. He is the son of Lillian Bratton Clark and the late Jessie Everett Clark. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Pulaski. He was the service manager for the Hudson Chevrolet Pulaski for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Pulaski Town Council, 1974 to 1978. He was a life time member of the Pulaski Jaycee's, president and treasurer of the Pulaski County Bass Master club and a member of the Virginia Bass Federation. He served on the advisory board of the New River College, Dublin. He also served in the United States Air Force. Surviving are his mother, Lillian Bratton Clark of Pulaski; his wife, Donna L. Clark; two daughters, Yvonne Clark of Martinsville, Va.; Mrs. Ashley Clark Funk and son-in-law, Roger Funk of Pulaski; one granddaughter, Erica Layne Funk; one sister, Ernestine Clark of Memphis, Tenn.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jesse and Myrtle Clark of Salem, Va.; Dean and Sharon Clark of Draper, Va.; Harold and Rita Clark of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. C. Maynard Powell, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va. Visiting will be anytime Saturday with the family receiving friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Blvd, Pulaski, is handling the arrangements.
