RURAL RETREAT LAKE HIRES NEW MANAGER

Dean Marchbanks of Rural Retreat will become the new manager of the Rural Retreat Lake recreation center March 1.

The lake authority chose him this week to succeed Sam Wagner, who resigned late last year.

Marchbanks, 36, has worked in masonry, as a textile plant shift supervisor and a truck driver. He and his wife have lived in Rural Retreat about three years. He was selected from more than 20 applicants.
