GEORGIA TECH COACH RECEIVES ACC HONOR

Bobby Ross, who guided Georgia Tech's football team to an unbeaten season in 1990, was honored as the Atlantic Coast Conference coach of the year Friday night.

Virginia quarterback Shawn Moore was honored as player of the year, Clemson running back Ronald Williams was named rookie of the year and Charlie Cobb of North Carolina State was given the James M. Tatum award for his academic accomplishments.
