SCHOOL DOES HAVE EMERGENCY PLANS

ON FEB. 12, a letter I wrote was published in this paper. The following day the principal of my daughter's school called me to come in and discuss the letter. Apparently, I was the recipient and relator of misunderstood information.

The principal explained that the school has a variety of plans for emergencies such as an attack. Information would be circulated through news broadcasts to inform parents of their children's location.

I did not intend to give misleading information or cause anyone to be offended.
