FLOYD COUNTY BEGINS COMMUNITY PROGRAM

A Planned Approach to Community Health program has been established in Floyd County. The program brings together community leaders to discuss health issues directly affecting their locality.

A community group meeting is planned for sometime later this month. And a kickoff health fair has been tentatively scheduled for April.

Floyd County is the first locality to adopt this program in Virginia.
