ARTIST IS VMI VISITING PROFESSOR

A naturalist and author of numerous articles, Summerour will teach courses in general biology, developmental biology, and deliver public lectures in his specialty of ornithology.

He is the editor of Alabama Birdlife, and has been active in several conservation and ecological activities. His paintings and pen-and-ink drawings have been published in nature magazines as well as biology laboratory manuals. He has exhibited at art shows, including those of the National Wildlife Federation.
