Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shell, Jr. of Roanoke are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Lynn, to Walter Thomas Fisher, Jr., son of W. T. "Tommy" Fisher, Sr. of Roanoke, and Evangeline Fisher of Troutville. The bride-elect graduated from William Byrd High School and The College of Health Sciences. She is employed by Roanoke Memorial Hospitals. The groom-to-be graduated from Lord Botetourt High School. He is employed by Datacare, Inc. A summer 1991 wedding is planned.
