MOON-NUTTER
Dashon Messeret Nutter and Vincent Tyrone Moon were married January 26,
1991, in Hill Street Baptist Church in Roanoke. The Rev. R. R. Wilkerson
officiated the ceremony. The reception was held at the Community Room at
Valley View Mall. The maid of honor was Nicole Nutter, sister of the bride.
The bridesmaids were Hope Davis, Rebecca Stokes and Cheryl Robertson. The best
man was Stevenson Moon, Jr., brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Willard
Terry, Melvin Sanders and Mikal M'Qhakkah. Flowergirl was Venisha Moon.
Ringbearer was Kory Robertson. The bride was given in marriage by her father,
Mr. Oswald Nutter. The bride wore a sweetheart gown and carried a bouquet of
white roses, gardenias and hyacinths. The bride is the daughter of Ms. Diane
W. Nutter of Roanoke and Oswald Nutter of Nanticoke, Md. She is a graduate of
William Fleming High School and is attending Virginia Western Community
College. The groom is the son of Ms. Piccola Gilliam of Roanoke and the late
Stevenson Moon, Sr. He is also a stepson of Mrs. Joyce Moon of Troutville. He
is employed by Catawba Hospital. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
