SHELTON ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shelton of Martinsville, Va., celebrated their 49th Wedding Anniversary with a surprise party December 22 at the Roanoke Marriott. As part of the celebration, the couple received a Bahamas cruise, hand paintings, plaques and poetry. Hosts for the event were the couple's five children and eight grandchildren. Friends and family members also attended.
