ART EXPLORATION CLASSES FOR ADULTS OFFERED

The Parks and Recreation Department is offering art exploration classes for adults. Classes will meet Thursdays, beginning March 7, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The evening class is scheduled for Tuesdays, beginning March 5, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Both classes will run for six weeks.

Students will explore a variety of media such as pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, water color and tempera and will learn the basics of drawing and color exploration. Creativity is emphasized, along with learning how to use an artit's eye when viewing ordinary objects.

Cost of the class is $10. Call 586-7161 before Feb. 26 to register.
