OBIT-JOHNSON, L.

Laurine C. Johnson, age 82, of Roanoke County, died Saturday in Snyder's Nursing Home, Salem. She was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, William Guy Johnson; daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy J. and David O. Holmes, Virginia Beach; Phyllis J. and Earl A. Young, Salem; grandson and wife, William Butch and Kathy P. Young, Vinton; brother and sister-in-law, Landon W. and Ella Mae Chilton, Danville; two great-grandchildren, William Brian Young and Emily Beth Young, Vinton. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1:00 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Helen Casey-Rutland officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
