BRIDGEWATER - Nora Whitmer McCulloch, age 88, a resident of 107 Nover Drive, Bridgewater, died Saturday night at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for 10 days. A daughter of the late Charles Douglas and Lucy Ella Rhodes, she was born October 26, 1902, in Mount Crawford. She was a graduate of the Lynchburg School of Nursing. On September 19, 1949, she was united in marriage to Madison McCulloch who died February 23, 1954. Her only survivors are nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Bridgewater Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Raymond Summerlin officiating. A graveside service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at the Fairview Cemetery in Buchanan. The body now rests at the McMullen Funeral Home, Route 10, Harrisonburg, where friends may call. The casket will not be open. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Bridgewater Rescue Squad, Virginia Ave., Bridgewater, Va., 22812.
