Goldie Agee Hoover Trent, age 74, of 327 Hershberger Road, N.W., Roanoke, formerly of Salem, died Sunday. She was predeceased by two husbands, Lynn Hoover and Julian J. Trent; three brothers, Ernest Agee, Rawlin Agee and Hobart Agee; one sister, Hazel Jones. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Judy Trent Peters, Lynchburg; two brothers, Al Agee and Randolph O. Agee, both of Salem; three sisters, Mrs. Ola Smith and Mrs. Revonda Cummings, both of Salem; Mrs. Joyce Worley, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem, with the Rev. R. Stuart Carlton officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that contributions be made to the Organ Fund of the Bethel Baptist Church, Salem. Funeral arrangements are by the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
