PULASKI - Margaret Hickman Morefield, age 76, of Brookmont Road, Pulaski, died Monday in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born in Natural Bridge Station, Va., on April 14, 1914, the daughter of the late George B. Hickman and Ella Tolley Hickman. She was a retired employee of the Virginia Maid Hosiery Mill in Pulaski. Surviving are her husband, Cooper Morefield, Pulaski; two sisters, Della Thomas, Glasgow; Minnie Shanks, Natural Bridge Station; one brother, Jessie Hickman, Natural Bridge Station. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clarence Cook officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Falling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Rockbridge County. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 at Stevens Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be made to the Brookmont Presbyterian Church, Pulaski, or to the Falling Spring Presbyterian Church, Rockbridge County.
