PULASKI THEATER STUDENTS PLACE FIRST

Pulaski County High School theater students placed first in the AAA Roanoke Valley District one-act play competition earlier this month at Patrick Henry High School.

The Pulaski County High School Players presented "The Insanity of Mary Girard, which takes place in the 1790s and is a portrait view of a woman who has been institutionalized at her husband's request.

Pulaski County will host the regional drama competition Feb. 23. Last year, the school placed second in district, first in regional and third in state competition.
