CANCER SOCIETY TAKING ORDERS FOR DAFFODILS

The American Cancer Society is now taking orders for daffodils, the first flower of spring and the "flower of hope" for the organization. They will be delivered the week of March 18-22.

The flowers will be delivered in the "tight bud" stage but will open within six to eight hours of being put in water. They are presold and will be delivered if the order is in excess of 10 bunches or more.

Bunches of daffodils may be ordered in various sizes. A bunch is equal to 10 flowers and costs $3.50. Ten bunches cost $35, 25 bunches cost $87.50 and is equal to half a box. A box costs $175.
