Ronald Lee (Slim) Overstreet, age 55, of Vinton, died Tuesday, February 19, 1991, at his home. He was a Vinton barber for 30 years. He began barbering in Roanoke in 1950's and was a barber in Lexington and Buena Vista. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Adria O. and Early Bishop, Charlottesville; his sister, Mary C. Bishop, Roanoke. Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton with the Rev. Bob Chapman officiating. Memorials may be made to the Vinton Life Saving Crew. Arrangements are by Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
