Mrs. Elizabeth Gladys Meeks, age 75, of Loudon Avenue, passed away at her home on Wednesday. She was the retired maid from Hidden Valley School. Survivors include one daughter, Roberta Brown, Roanoke; one son, George Meeks, Richmond; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Mae Hunt, and a sister-in-law, Bertha Dillard, both of Roanoke; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
