INDIANS OUT MUSCLE FRANKLIN COUNTY FOR WIN

Blacksburg made its final regular season home game a memorable one by defeating Franklin County 63-53 in non-district boys' basketball action on Wednesday.

Thompson Lester led the way for the Indians (15-4) with 22 points, and Jon Maher chipped in 16.

Kenny Wade, with 17 points, was the only player for Franklin County (1-18) to reach double figures.
