Virginia Odell France, age 61, of 4821 Eden Drive, NW, died Wednesday, February 20, 1991. She is survived by her husband, Wm. Ray France, one daughter, Doris Ann Ortt, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Charlie Ortt and Tracy McCarty; one sister, Mary J. Bryant, Roanoke; two stepgrandchildren, Deborah Y. McCarty; Columbia, S.C.; Donald R. France, Victorsville, Calif.; one niece, Nancy L. Robbins, Roanoke; and sister-in-law, Violet Janney, Roanoke. Funeral service will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, with the Rev. Roger Graves officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
