Mrs. Sallie Gertrude Terry, of North Spring Dr., N.W. passed away on Thursday. She was the widow of Vernard C. Terry. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Reba Cannaday, Roanoke; Mrs. Elsie Reddix, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Jayne Johns, Forestville, Md.; Mrs. Sophia Wicks, San Dimis, Calif.; five sons, Coles Terry, Adelphia, Md.; Charles Terry, Donald Terry, Ronald Terry, Larry Terry, all of Roanoke; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Craig, Mrs. Gladys Jones, both of Roanoke; two brothers, Hobart Taylor, Boones Mill; James Lee Taylor, Roanoke County; one aunt, Mrs. Zenobia Ashville, Boones Mill; a host of other relatives and friends.
