NEW CALENDAR DEADLINES

On March 29, we'll be changing and expanding The Calendar to make it simpler to use, with more photos, easy-to-read headings and highlighted information.

As a result, deadlines for submitting calendar items are changing.

Beginning March 7, calendar items will have to be submitted eight days ahead of publication. That is, if you have an item for the March 15 calendar, you must get it to us by 5 p.m. on March 7. The deadline for the March 22 edition is 5 p.m. March 14.

We'll be looking for more photos of upcoming events to include on our calendar pages, and we'll be happy to return them if you attach a return address.
