DRINKARD NEW CHIEF OF VSAF

Lawson Drinkard, a 1973 Virginia graduate and chief executive officer of a Charlottesville architectural firm, has been appointed executive director of the Virginia Student Aid Foundation.

Drinkard, 40, succeeds Joe Mark, who earlier was appointed senior executive field secretary of the foundation.

"We had a number of well-qualified applicants and feel that Lawson is the right man for the job," VSAF president Jack Syer said. - Staff report
