Scott Dawson gunned in 24 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead Pocahontas to an 89-50 high school boys' basketball victory over Rural Retreat.

The Indians (14-6) raced to a 38-15 halftime lead and never were threatened. Roger Cook added 19 points.

Rural Retreat (0-20) got 14 points from Stephen Saferight and 11 from John Gregory.
