FRANKLIN COUNTY GIRLS WIN 47-45

Lottie Huffman converted a three-point play with seven seconds left to lift Franklin County to a 47-45 girls' basketball victory over William Fleming.

Huffman had 16 points for the Eagles (9-11, 3-9 in the Roanoke Valley District). Crystal Muse added 12 points.

William Fleming, which got 19 points from Marquetta Randolph and 12 from Regina Fields, missed a 3-point shot that would have won the game.
