GED TESTS OFFERED IN CHRISTIANSBURG

The General Education Development tests for high school equivalency certificates will be offered in March 6 and 8, 4:15-9 p.m., at Christiansburg High.

Testing sessions are limited to 60 people. Registration is first-come, first-served at the Montgomery County Schools Pupil Personnel Office, 407 Wilson Ave. in Blacksburg.

Applicants must apply in person Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. They must be at least 18 and Virginia residents for at least 30 days. Applicants must also present a picture ID, such as a driver's license.

There is a $20 fee for the battery of five tests in social studies, reading, science, math and writing. Checks cannot be accepted. Re-tests cost $4 each. For information, call 381-6116.
