POLICE-CAR MATTER IS BOONES MILL'S

I DON'T understand all the crying and concern over the new police car. A police department can use any type of car it wants. This policeman earned this car. It did not cost people in any other town or state a penny of your tax money.

Before this officer was hired, there were numerous accidents in Boones Mill, with a lot of bad injuries and even loss of lives. In a small town such as this, people take advantage and speed, never giving thought to what can happen. This officer has done a remarkable job slowing down traffic and making this town a safer and better place.

Everyone should thank God every day for people like this officer who risk their lives so we can have a safer place to live. This man could save your life some day. So leave this matter in Boones Mill where it belongs. NANCY SUET BOONES MILL
