Barbara Webb, a 65-year-old retired schoolteacher from Palm City, said she was infected by Dr. David Acer, who died of acquired immune deficiency syndrome in September.
Webb's lawyer, Robert Montgomery, said she would file claims within days against Acer's estate and the insurance company that referred her to him.
Kimberly Bergalis, 23, of Fort Pierce, prompted a national review of safety procedures used by AIDS-infected health-care workers when she charged last year that Acer infected her while pulling two of her teeth. She is believed to be the first person in the nation to contract AIDS from a medical professional.
The national Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta continued a hearing today on how to protect patients from the disease.
Richard Driskill, 29, an Indiantown citrus company supervisor, was the second AIDS-infected patient to sue Acer. Montgomery is representing all three.
