IF POLICE HARDENED, HOW BLAME THEM?

MURDER; rape; robbery; drug addicts; drunks; domestic violence; accidents. The list goes on. This is what our policemen deal with on a daily basis.

If they have hardened personalities, who can blame them? If policemen went around being jovial and carefree, people would accuse them of being unprofessional. They are probably afraid of being anything but professional for fear of having a lawsuit slapped on them.

Policemen do not go around trying to make trouble; they are called into it or try to prevent it from happening. Show them a little respect. They deserve it. VIRGINIA SMITH BLUE RIDGE
