NARROWS DOWNS GILES FOR TOURNAMENT BERTH

Jeff Dent scored 24 points to lead Narrows to a 63-57 victory over Giles in a Mountain Empire District playoff game to determine the final seed for next week's tournament.

Mason Bragg added 15 and Kenny Mosley 13 for the Green Wave, which will advance as the eighth seed to face top-seeded Bland on Tuesday.

Jessie Williams had 13 and Eddie Adams 10 for the Spartans.
