TWO GIRLS PACE MARLINS IN WEST VIRGINIA MEET

The Carter Center Marlins of Roanoke are in 14th place after two days of competition in the Mountaineer Presidents Day swim meet.

The Marlins have earned most of their points on the performances of two swimmers in the 11-12 age bracket for girls.

Lissa Wood placed seventh in 100-yard individual medley, sixth in the 50 breast stroke, fifth in the 200 IM, fourth in the 200 freestyle, fourth in the 50 freestyle and fourth in the 100 butterfly.

Mary Logan was fifth in the 100 IM and fifth in the 100 butterfly.
