JONES-SCRIBNER
Allison Ruth Jones and Gregory Joseph Scribner were married January 5,
1991, at Crestar Plaza with Dr. Steve Teague officiating. The reception was
held at the Elks Lodge. The matrons of honor were Susan Lusk of Atlanta, Ga.,
and Patty McCoy-Strain of Bedford, Va., friends of the couple. The bridesmaids
were Jackie Scribner and Holly Scribner, sisters-in-law. The best man was Jeff
Scribner, brother of the groom. The ushers were Brad Bailey, Brian Bailey,
David Amos, friends of the couple. The ringbearer was Freddie Akers. The bride
is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald B. Jones of Shalimar, Fla. She graduated
from Eldorado High School, Albuquerque, New Mexico and from Middle Tennessee
State University, Murpheesboro, Tenn. The groom is the son of Helen Clark and
William Scribner of Roanoke. He graduated from William Fleming High School. He
is the owner of Scribner Screen Printing. The newlyweds will make their home
in Roanoke after the wedding trip to Orlando, Fla.
