EAVES ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Glenwood Eaves were recently entertained by their children in a reception honoring their 50th wedding anniversary held in Fellowship Hall at High Street Baptist Church, Roanoke.

They were married by Rev. Royal Hairston in Christiansburg on January 15, 1941. They have two sons, Robert Eaves, Dallas, Texas, and John Eaves, St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Eaves is a native of the Wake Forest area of Blacksburg and is retired from the V.A. Hospital. Mrs. Eaves is the former Ethel McDaniel, of Christiansburg. She is an associate minister at Pilgrim Baptist Church and Director of the Jail Ministry. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
