OBIT-DUFF, J.

John Henry Duff of Blue Ridge died Sunday. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. Mr. Duff was a member of Woodstock Park Masonic Lodge #313, AF & AM, Jacksonville, Fla.; Kazim Shrine Temple; the Kazim Fire Brigade; the Scottish Rite; and the Roanoke Valley Shrine Club. Surviving are his wife, Kathy Duff; two sons, Rodney R. Buxton, Palm Bay, Fla.; Clifford E. Buxton, Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Mack M. Duff, Valley Station, Ky.; George W. Duff, Moneta; Omer E. Duff, Roanoke; one sister, Hazel D. Steele, Roanoke; foster brother, Donnie Etue, Roanoke. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Rick Via officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted by Lakeland Masonic Lodge #190 AF & AM. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
