FERRUM - Mr. Clifford Stiles, age 55, of Route 2, Ferrum, died Saturday afternoon at his residence. Mr. Stiles was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. and was employed by the Stanley W. Bowles Corporation of Martinsville, Va. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jean Basso Stiles of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Sandra S. Schlosser, Roanoke; Miss Alicia Stiles of the home; one sister, Mrs. Joan Rowe, Long Island, N.Y.; four brothers, Albert and John Stiles, both of Long Island, N.Y.; George Stiles, Melbourn, Fla.; Rivington Stiles, Brooklyn, N.Y. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Risen Sun in Stuart, Va., with burial in the family cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Moody Funeral Home Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
